Advance America Cash Advance Centers, Inc., the parent company of its subsidiaries operating as National Cash Advance, first opened in November 1997 and grew to over 800 locations in a period of only two years. In October 1999, Advance America enhanced its national presence by acquiring over 500 National Cash Advance locations and converting most of them to Advance America centers. Advance America Cash Advance Centers, Inc. is the largest provider of payday cash advance services in the United States, as measured by the number of payday cash advance centers operated.
