Advance America Cash Advance, the parent company of National Cash Advance, first opened in November 1997 and grew to over 800 locations in a period of only two years. In October 1999, Advance America enhanced its national presence by acquiring over 500 National Cash Advance locations and converting most of them to Advance America centers. Through this combination of acquisition and new store openings, the company's national growth continues today. As the largest provider of payday cash advance services in the United States, Advance America currently operates over 2,800 centers in 37 states.
